Approaching at 3.7 lunar distances, near-earth asteroid 2011 YL28 will pass close to the earth on January 4, although at the dim magnitude of 18.13. Thanks to an ephemeris by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, we can access the future information of 2011 YL28. This space rock is forty-six meters in diameter and will pass at 08:21 UT.
